  • Re: RHEL5 and ADEXL
Thanks for the help, but I had already openmotif, x86_64 and i386, installed, and all the other required libraries. Since we had a centos 5 machine that cadence worked well on, I have reinstalled CentOS 5 with all the packages it offers (talk about paranoid), added the i386 libelf and openmotif , and now everything runs well . the ...

  • How do you sweep under ADE-XL Monte Carlo simulation.
I am new in ADE-XL , and I tried to simulate a mixer's conversion gain over a range of IF frequency. it all runs well in ADE-L My variables are IF=1G , RF=6*IF and LO=5*IF . I then sweep in pss the IF from 0.8G to 1.2G and get a gain curve. From which I calculate the maximum and the ripple (max-min), using to output expressions. However, ...

  • How to make ADE XL start a simulation
Recently I moved to work with IC 6.1.3 , where the monte carlo was moved to ADE XL. I am able to start the ADE XL and set up everything , but when I try to run monte carlo (or even a single sweep)  I get error message  ADEXL-1921 (see Attachment. Are there new environment variables I forgot ?
