  • Re: Refreshing library padstacks
Steve,     It ends up I do not have to update the library footprints.  When the footprint is placed on a board the padstacks update automatically to the defined padstacks.  So I can update the library at a later time. Thanks, Ken

Thanks Steve,     Unfortunately I am registered on this help site and when I tried to sign in on the COS(support....) it said my password was wrong.  I selected the forgot password and had a temporary emailed to myself.  After I followed the steps and selected a new password, it says I still need to register.  The ...

  • Re: Refreshing library padstacks
Good morning Steve,      Thank you for the answer, however I am not sure how to find the solution you mentioned.  I selected the solutions header and pasted the number in the search, but it came up empty.  Could you please let me know how to locate the solution or paste a link.  Thank you, Ken

  • Refreshing library padstacks
Good afternoon all,     I recently had to change my solder mask layers from 5mils larger than the pad to 6mils for the board house.  All the pads are updated and I can open each library part and refresh the pads one at a time, but does anyone know a way to select the library and update all the padstacks at once?  Thank ...

  • Re: OrCAD Capture "Update Cache" not working?
Option 2:  I am also at 16.5 for now..If you are only updating one or two parts...When you replace the cache do not check Preserve Refdes and the footprints will get updated and you will just have to re-reference the two parts to what they were.

  • Re: Global relief settings
Steve,      Thanks for all the help.  I'll probably have the IT guy update to the latest software and see if he can still get Layout to work...He said with the new release and windows 7 that Layout won't work.  In order to get them both to work at the same time, as they do now, I had to mess around with a ...
