  • Re: Problem with scripts that require file browsers
    Thank you Gents for the feedback. I've used the file browsers in my SKILL code. My main problem though, is that I've been trying to save the report that is generated after doing a "File->Import". The report pops right up and is shown in an .htm based window, but when I hit "Save" I can't do anything with it. I ...

  • Re: Problem with scripts that require file browsers
    Thanks oldmouldy, But the problem I believe I'm looking at, is not so much that the "fillin value" needs to be dynamically tweaked, but that I can't actually get a handle to the browser window.   I'm actually attempting to record a script, then issuing the specific statements I want through axlShell() commands ...

    I'm running Allegro 16.6 for windows. If you've got a script you could post or send that handles those browser windows properly, I would really appreciate it. Thanks oldmouldy.  -Mike

  • Re: Problem with scripts that require file browsers
    Thanks, I'm not quite understanding how this would help during a -nographic script run though. It's not interactive at all. The issue seems to be that I need to be able to "setwindow" to the browser window, and know what the FORM name is.  Using the record and replay functionality, there isn't anything there. I'm ...

  • Problem with scripts that require file browsers
    Does anyone know of a workaround that would allow a script or axlShell() commands to select and populate a file browser if it pops up?  It seems that the file browser form isn't recgonized.  So therefore no data can be entered. Specifically, after doing a File->Import and running, a summary report pops up with the details. ...

  • Re: backColor for grid cells
    Hey Dave, Thank you for your help.  I've put in multiple calls to axlFormGridUpdate(form "grid"). I've simplified some code as an example.  But I still can not get the background color or alignment to work.  Would you (or ANYBODY) take a look?  After loading these procedures and calling mikeGrid() it should ...

    I'm also having a problem centering the columns during creation.  It always stays to the left.

  • Re: backColor for grid cells
    Yes. I didn't include all the code.  Basically I can't get the background color to change at all. cell = axlFormGridNewCell() cell->row = rowCounter cell->col = colCounter cell->textColor = 'black cell->backColor = 'yellow cell->value = "Layer" axlFormSetField(form "grid" ...
