  • Total capacitance
Hi, is there a method within Pspice to calculate the total capacitance and inductance in a particular circuit?  I could do this manially, but it would be so much quicker if pspice could do the math.
  • Re: no doubt this is a silly question...

  • no doubt this is a silly question...
couple of questions if i may. in the attached  pic, why would one of my nets, be shown as grey, where the others are blue. (this grey transfers throght to a trace too when I route). it even makes one of the pads on U2 turn grey. what does this mean. similar query with some of the caps, they are either appear to be highlighted completely, or ...

Hi and thanks for the response, I called the tech support guys at parallel systems and sent in my project. They also very quickly were able to diagnose the same thing... Not sure how I managed to force it in to saving the brd in the root, and not the allegro sub dir.

  • Is this normal behaviour??
So I have a basic schematic, then produced a board from it. For some reason and with both windows open and the board routed, when I do a simple thing like move a component on the board, orcad physically deletes files in my project tree/folder, the .DSN file is defiantly deleted I’m sure there are others. So now I have to restore a backup ...
