  • Re: Nested Parametric transient Sweep in Cadence
    Thanks. Just adding another paramanalysis made it work.  paramAnalysis("vdd" ?values '(1.2 1.35 1.5))   paramAnalysis("temp" ?start -50 ?stop 100 step 50)   Vipul

  • Nested Parametric transient Sweep in Cadence
    Hi,   How do I perform nested parametric transient sweep in ADE of Vdd and Temp? If not possible, how do I modify the ocean script after saving the file? Do I use the "for each" command? Snippet of Ocean script:  "paramAnalysis("vdd" ?values '(1.2 1.35 ...

  • How to create a voltage dependent resistor and capacitor in cadence?
    Hi,  I want to create a resistor who has value of  0.1562 *exp(-24.37·Vbat) + 0.07446. How can I input the Voltage in properties window? Do I need a voltage dependent resistance component or can I do it without it? Same for capacitor.  Thanks,Vipul

  • Re: Spice to Spectre
    I got one more question if you don't mind. I can't seem to probe the current of my subcircuit diode. Although I can probe the current from VDC that I am supplying voltage from. I basically see a blank screen if I probe the current of my sub circuit diode. Am I missing something there? Thanks, Vipul

  • Re: Spice to Spectre
    Ok thanks, it works now.  I also used this thread: http://www.cadence.com/Community/blogs/rf/archive/2009/01/07/tip-of-the-week-how-to-simulate-a-subcircuit-netlist-with-spectre-in-ade.aspx I was also making the mistake of editing the CDF of the instantiate cellview. Also, I just used my spice subcircuit model instead of converting to ...

  • Spice to Spectre
     I have tried to follow these step for getting a diode in spice to appear in spectre, but I get errors:  1. Convert the SPICE block using spp. ---This is the output:   simulator lang=spectre insensitive=yes subckt x1n4735a ( 1 2 ) // //  The resistor R1 does not reflect //  a physical device. Instead ...

  • Ocean Script to Adexl Calculator
    I have this code that works in ocean: (Basically I sweep time and store the Vin value on to a text file) for(tt 1 1200   time = (tt*.0005)-.0005           if( (value(VT("/Vout"), time)<=.8 && value(VT("/clk"), time)>=1) && (value(VT("/Vout"), ...

  • How do I implement this offset logic in ocean script?
    I have a ramp in my input of comparator and I am getting the offset by implementing this logic in ocean script. If clock= 1 and output= 1 in an transient response, then get the x-value for the first time that it happens. From that x-value, get the y-value of input. How would I accomplish this? Do I need to loop through each time step and see ...
