  • Re: Cadence 16.6 database corruption
Thanks. Oldmouldy. I did per your instruction and the Log file shows no errors or warnings. I also tried to run my netlist again and the same message came up. It also has the warning indicated that the symbols not found in PSMPATH or must be "dbdoctor"ed.

  • Cadence 16.6 database corruption
Hi there, I received this message "Database has a non-recoverable corruption...." when it was trying to import netlist into Allegro. I checked my footprints and they were ok then re-ran netlists then it kept giving me the same warnings. Please help! Thanks.

Yes. I did change it to 255 that matches with the same setting in PCB Editor and it was still giving me the same error.

  • Netlist error
I created my connector footprint by using the "CONN RCPT 46X2" model from the library then I renamed it as 123456.dra and put it in my project folder. When I created the Netlist and the error was listed in the netrev file as Porblems with the name of device 'CONN RCPT 46X2_123456_CONN RCPT 46X2': Name is too long.' I tried ...

  • Re: change pin numbers on connector
Thanks for your response, Steve. I'm using the PCB Designer 16.5 and could not find the CSV option in either Export or Import sub-menu. I'm wondering if I've missed something.

  • change pin numbers on connector
Hi there. I'm learning the Allegro PCB Editor. I'm trying to change the pin numbers on one of the dip 2 row connectors in the library to match with my connector that should have the all odd numbers (1,3, 5...) on one side and vice versa. Right now, I have to highlight each pin then change the text in the EDIT menu that would ...
