  • Providing offset voltage
Hi,   I designed a rectifier and a regulator. Both modules are working perfectly, when I have simulated as independent blocks. For regulator, I have given offset voltage of 1V.  Now, I tried to integrate both of these blocks. So, the output of the rectifier is given as an input to the regulator.  I have directly connected ...

  • Re: ac power calculation for rectifier in cadence ADE
What should I consider (either rms or average value) of voltage and current while calculating ac and dc power? When I tried to calculate average dc current, its neither plotting the graph nor showing the value. It says expression is invalid. Can you please explain how to do so? I am in desperate need of help. Pls folks, post ur suggestions.

  • ac power calculation for rectifier in cadence ADE
Hi,   I am designing a rectifier and need to calculate the efficiency. I have followed the below procedure: 1. Designed a rectifier using MOSes with RF signal at 865MHz with a load current of 4uA. 2. Simulated the rectifier using transient analysis. I tried to vary the design variable 'v' (Input Voltage amplitude) to monitor the ...

  • ASK modulated Signal
Hi, I am designing an ASK demodulator. Can you pls tell me how to give ASK modulated signal in Cadence ADE L? I don't want to design ASK modulator and give that signal as input to demodulator. With the available instances Vsin/Vsource, how can I give a modulated signal to demodulator as input? Is it possible to use AM index and frequency for ...
