  • Re: Snap to grid error
I always keep my Etch and Non Etch grids the same and change the under setup/Grids. Its only the slide command that seems to affect this and I can route and its fine going back to editing a dynamic shape, but its only when I slide and then go back to editing a shape do I lose the snapping to grid. Its odd as it will snap to grid ...

  • Edit Dimension text 16.6 Trying to add count to a hole ie 2X
I cant seem to find out how to edit it the text, there is an edit text but nothing happens when I try this in the dimension edit area. Its new dimension just added but still can't do anything with it and wind up having to delete and add plain text with the new upgrades more often that's its helped.

  • Re: How to make a custom pad for a flex circuit
I created a shape and added soldermask as its a LCC part with the 8 inside pads that are beveled but my problem is that the ratsnest connects to the outside corner of the shape and not the center of the shape where the origin is located. How can I get it to connect to the center of the shape?

  • Re: 16.3 Netlist problems
Thanks for taking the time to respond!! It was an ofdd occurance as when I opened an Orcad 10.5 schematic it changed the pins on that device to power and removed the visibility of the pins as they were labeled power. I don't know why it changed these pins only but when I changed them back to passive all was good.

  • Re: How to translate libraries from layout to allegro
I get a message saying the connectors are too big. I've got into setup and enlarged the sheet as large as it will go and still no luck, it imports all other parts in the library but these two. --- "HGM208ME" is too big - component not placed --- "HGM208FD" is too big - component not placed

How can I get the rats to show up when moving a part, I understant it won't optimize but I'd at least like to see them.
