  • Analysis condition in SOCen v9.1
Hi, recently I started to use soc encounter v9.1 instead of v8.1. I am looking for he option like timing--->analysis condition in version9.1 but i con not find it can anyone tell me where I can find it? thanks, Medya

  • analoglib relay
hi everyone I use the relay from analoglib as an ideal switch for simple track and hold, but when I simulate it i have this problem that the accuracy of circuit(tacking fft)is degraded in the input frequency over 10MHz,I reduce the rc time of circuit but the result does not change . For low freq i have no problem fin=100k,is the relay freq ...

  • Re: problem with Ocnprint
Hi Andrew, I use IC5141. As I mentioned when I use? step this problem is occurred and when I removed it the results are printed in 1 column. This problem also present when I use stobeperiod,It is seemed that the OCNprint has problem with using of time step!!!!???? can you proposed other command for printing simulation results for Monte Carlo ...

  • problem with Ocnprint
Hi everyone! I do monte carlo analysis for my circuit via oceanScript but when i use ocnprint("./filename" out2 ?step 10n) the output text file is something like that I attach, note that when I remove the ?step the the output data is printed in one column an so I don’t have any problem but for above command the printing format ...

  • Writing simulation data into a file after running
Hi, I use oceanscript for running a long time simulation, but after hours when simulation completed this error occurred>>cannot open output file ./paramoutput.txt<< before this long time running, I test the script and it works well.my q here: is that any way to rewriting the simulation result into file ...

  • Re: The resolution of sin wave
Thank you alot Andrew, finally i have to run the fft analysis(.csv from tran output) with matlab code that i tested it before,(I use the table option in graph window for extracting .csv), but when  the .csv data is used for calculating  sfdr and sndr I noticed that the noise floor was very large,so I used the dft function for comparing ...

The spectre version is 5.10.41_usr6.081308 and virtuoso ADE is 5.10.41_usr6.127.29.here are the input and netlist files of the simulation. thanks.

Hi again,I simulate the circuit that you were simulated it,but my FFT dont chang, what is the difference????can yuo tel me what is the other options value that you set in your simple simulation?thanks a lot.

  • Re: The resolution of sin wave
Hi I simulate a simple switchcap circuit (transmition gate with a cap and sin source)and when I take  fft from the input side I obtain this, but i dont set any other options like you say.

  • Re: problem with strobe period
Thank you Andrew, but I dont find the strobeoutput in the tran analysis .I am  using spectre and only see two option in tran analysis that related to strobe: 1.strobe periode 2.strobe delay.
