    Hi, I have a question about the shape/split plane. i already have ready shape created with Anti-Etch with net connected to split the each section to different net.     hi Anaxroche, Thanks for advice, but it is a lot traces in my BRD Layout, as it is complicated circuit, and there are not only have 6mils traces, so it will take a lot of time to click on the 6mils traces one by one. does cadence have a function something like can automatically highlight/select all the 6mils trace?

    Hi, i am about the finish my BRD layout, but found all the 6mils width traces i draw are too small, need to change to 8mils. can i know how to select all the 6mils traces and change it to 8mils at once?

    Hi, i am designing a layout, which my trace have to pass through the middle of two via. but the clearance/spacing are not allow me to pass it. can i know how to set the clerance of the trace or via, so my trace can pass through between the two via. i believe it have to set it in contraint manager, but i have no idea how to set it. hope someone ...

     Hi Anaxroche,  OK, i got your mean. So for the same length traces, i have open my contraint manager>Electrical>Net>Routing, but there are no "Total Etch Length" in my contraint manager. Over there only have "differential Pair". Do you have any idea how to set up the Total Etch Length?

     hi ken13, sorry cause i an quite new to cadence, i have tried your advice but not very sure how it work, because now my project need a requirement is that the VCC1 and VCC2 point have to be in total same distance/length from a point to point. so i not sure how to measure and draw the trace which both trace have to be in same ...

  • how to fix trace width
    Hi, i am new to allegro. can i know how to fix the wdith of the line? cause everytime i connect from a point to point, it will change to default trace width again, then i have to change the width in design parameter every connection.
