  • Re: ocean XL - ocnxl test without analysis statement..
I found that they fixed this in the latest ISR (6.1.5.500.15) by adding in an environmental variable:  ignoreAnalysisCheck To use it: envSetVal( "adexl.simulation" "ignoreAnalysisCheck" 'boolean t) This works better than the hack, Yay!  Mark

  • Re: Integration of bsource in schematic views
Hi Michele, I've got a potential solution to the issue you're describing here. I created a component in my library called 'BSource' with a symbol and spectre view only (just copy a vsource symbol). Then, I edited the CDF to have the following: Component Parameter: Name: v Prompt: v Type: String Parse as CEL: Yes Parse as ...

  • Re: The Next SKILL IDE?
This would be an awesome IDE. The kickstarter goal was met and they have released an alpha build of Light-table. Since languages are enabled through plugins, why couldn't this couldn't be supported?

  • Re: Skill code Regression
@Marcel, Yes, I had thought of doing something like that. I was just curious as to whether something else existed out there. @Andrew, Thanks!  I was unaware of the assert function, This should allow me to do what I had in mind.  I think that with the assert() statements and the method mentioned by Marcel, a simple regression ...

  • Skill code Regression
Greetings all, I am stil quite a newbie at this, so I apologize if I'm asking a silly question.  As I'm developing more and more skill code functions, I'm finding that trying to ensure that each individual function remains working as expected is becoming more and more difficult.  The obvious solution is to implement some ...

  • Re: Remove duplicates from a list
Nice writeup. I was once shown a varient of this method to remove duplicates (defun nub (l_list)   (let ( (l_unique (list nil)) g_first)         (while l_list                   g_first = (car l_list)       ...

  • Re: ocean XL - ocnxl test without analysis statement..
I actually found a nice (small) hack to bypass the lint checking.  Just have the scripts detect when an analysis statement is not included, then include a dummy analysis.     ocnSetSilentMode(t)     (unless (analysis)       analysis('dc ?saveOppoint nil ?save "selected" ...

  • Re: How can I search a selected netname?
I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but I read your request as you wanting to highlight all figures associated with a selected net. One possible solution would be to:First, get the wire object: d_obj = (caar (geGetObjectSelectedSet))Then, query the object's net: d_net = d_obj->netThen,query the net's figures:  ...

  • Custom instance name for dcOp
Greetings all, I'm running on IC_6.15_ISR7 and I'm looking for a method to change the name of the spectre simulation that the netlist chooses. For example: If I have an ocean script, and I have the following expression:analysis('dc ?saveOppoint t) It will create the following bit of text in the input.scs file:dcOp dc ...
