  • Padstack preview invisible
When I try to edit a padstack or select a padstack for a new package, the padstack preview window ("Quickview") is always blank.  I can't see the padstack at all until after I select it.  This makes browsing through the padstacks really hard.   I am running Version 16.3 and Windows 7.  I've ...

  • Re: Package creation - Allegro
This is exactly what I needed.  I knew about the algrolibdev folder, but I just needed to know to go to file->new to find the package symbol editor.  It seems obvious in retrospect, but I just couldn't find it.  Thanks!

  • Re: PCB Editor - Tree view not available
Thanks for the quick reply!  It looks like I'm running 16.3 p006 (v16-3-85F).  I changed the Windows Display to 100 from 125, and sure enough, the check boxes show up now.  The only interesting thing is that in the place window, the "Hide" button disappeared.  This isn't a big deal - I will just move the ...

  • PCB Editor - Tree view not available
I am very new to PCB Editor and I'm sure I will end up posting a fair amount of Forum questions.  The first is that I am trying to do a manual place of components in the PCB Editor, and my tree view doesn't seem to be appearing properly.  In all the examples I have seen, there are check boxes next to the reference ...
