  • Re: Licensing problem for QRC extraction
I put Non-Manhattan Resistance Accuracy option to default (it was high). Now, the extraction run well. My license may not be sufficient to run this kind of extraction. Thanks, wighou

  • Licensing problem for QRC extraction
Hello, I have a license for QRC extraction. I succeeded at realizing a C extraction. But when I try to realize a R or RC extraction, it gives a licensing error : ERROR (LBRCXM-617): Unable to obtain 1 license(s) for QRCX_Display_Technology_Option 11.10 Any idea ? Regards, wighou

  • Re: vdbToRcx error
It was just a problem of PATH definition. $ASSURA_HOME/tools/bin was not in the path.

Thanks Andrew, the solution was to install  xorg-x11-fonts-ISO8859-1-75dpi > yum install  xorg-x11-fonts-ISO8859-1-75dpi

  • Re: OS to run cadence license manager
Hi Quek, Thanks for your answer Cost is a concern, support is a concern. I am trying to find the price the less expensive, keeping the support of Cadence. But to ask directly to Cadence support, I must have an account. To have this account, my installation has to be qualified ... So, it is a bit complicated. Best regards

  • Re: OS to run cadence license manager
Oh, it is not so simple ... RedHat only sells licenses for 3 years in Brazil. So, the price is much more expensive ... So I am going to try with Suse. But in the list of supported OS, there is only SLES (server version of Suse). Do you know if SLED (desktop version) is supported too ?

  • Re: OS to run cadence license manager
Thanks for your answer, Quek. So, I will install RHEL Desktop in all the workstations and use one of them to run the license manager.
