  • Re: Flattening the Multipart Path
Hi Andrew, Nice observation with convert to polygon :)   Regarding the Flattening topic: I udnerstand now the idea with the shapes on the same level, but I still would/could see <flattening form with preserve ROD objects disabled> as a black box which would have as result a list of objects which are NOT ROD, not inst, not via, ...

  • Re: Flattening the Multipart Path
Hi, One additional information: If you include your multipart path object inside one cell, and you flatten that cell with the option: "Preserve ROD Object"  ->disabled then you will get a flattened multipart path. The question would be: shouldn't flatten form accept MPPif "preserve rod objects" is disabled? ...

  • PathSegments not connected
     Hi, My problem is reduced to 2 simple cases: Case1: dbCreatePathSeg(cvId "metal" 0:0 3:0 0.6 "truncate" "truncate") dbCreatePathSeg(cvId "metal" 3:0 6:3 0.1 "custom" "custom" list(0.425 0.425 list(0.3 0.3 0.425 0.3 0.3 0.425))) I have the result from first attached file, where ...

  • Re: Callback procedure doesn't work when I change the cellname.
Hi, I have the same issue. I think in schematic properties for it's possible to somehow override the callback of the cellname field by accessing cdfForm ... but I'm not sure if this is safe; Anyhow .. beeing interested in a solution for this: how could I make libname/cellnameto be readonly ?   Thank you, BR, Adrian

  • is dbReplacePropList not recommended for pcell? (in docu')
Hello, My purpose is (when dealing with abuttment function) to set more parameters on a instance. In order to avoid the pcell to be evaluated after each parameter is changed, something like the "Edit parameters" form was needed in order to provide the list of changes, and then , somehow, apply all changes ...

  • Re: pcCellView and LINT
Hello Andrew, Indeed very useful hint !  Using skIgnoreMessage('STRICT) allows me to add lower case Package Prefixes, andthis allows me to use LINT in "good" conditions :)   Thank you, Best Regards, Adrian

  • pcCellView and LINT
Hello, When using global system variables like pcCellView or cdfgData or cdfgForm, then LINT is very angry saying that those are global variables and this is not ok.  The only solution I have found to avoid these warnings is somethig like: let( (tmp pcId)     tmp = 'pcCellView     pcId = symeval(tmp)   ...

  • Re: Stop XStream from custom skill procedure
Probably you are right, The intent of the markers was exactly to avoid "pcell evaluation failed" situations based on the idea that it is better to have a nice error marker with an explination as a label than a pcell eval failed; The intent of stopping xStream if this case is found was also having in mind the possibility (on the ...

  • Re: Stop XStream from custom skill procedure
Hello, Thanks Derek It is disabled, I also noticed that option. I tried to make the problem more clear; I have one pcell which starts with something like: If( isCallable(theBigPcellFunction) then     theBigPcellFunction(....) else    put_an_error_marker_in_layout )   And I have the original layout ...
