Hi Andrew, Thanks for responding. I typically write out the signals to a text file in order to do postprocessing on these outside the Cadence design environment. I've got various scripts that run checks on the data generated this way from multiple runs. I usually have the +psfbin option enabled but I realized that it was missing ...

But I find that once I have the results, then I am unable to get ADE to read the results and give me say "pmjitter" or a noise summary. Thanks Frank! But I fear that that doesn't answer my question. I would like to run sims outside the GUI so as to be able to parallelize things. But doing so prevents me from being able to evaluate pnoise_pmjitter. I only get the voltage mode noise, and more importantly, I cannot get a noise summary. I don't care if the noise ...

I was trying to run multiple PNOISE analysis to observe different output points. So, I ran these as separate batch jobs using one of our local scripts, which simply takes in different cases as inputs and launches them as parallel runs. An update here. I decided to roll back to an older MMSIM version (10.11.235) and TRAN noise seems to run just fine, although I still need to look at all the data. The warning regarding convergence issues pops up even now but the simulation continues without getting terminated. Andrew: In this case, I think we cannot speak of the models at fault ...

Andrew, 1) Thanks! I am running the 64-bit version of Spectre but I suspect just like you that this is not a typical out-of-memory error. 2) There are no inductors in the circuit. 3) I have got cmin turned on but not set = 1fF but 1aF. I can try to increase it to 10aF but 1f would be too much for me. 4) I don't see the option ...

Quek, I think you misunderstood my question. The example you show above will simply run a fresh TRAN analysis and write out fixed measure outputs performed on fixed, pre-defined signals. So, if I wanted to run the same set of measurements on 100 different signals, then I would need to key in all those expressions 100 times over and over. ...
