DXF output from Orcad Capture Reply

Does DXF output forn Capture work on 16.5 We tried it and all we get is an error message stating

dxf output is not available  at this time, what exactly does that mean, the menu picks are there but nothing works

or is there something else wrong? Any help would greatly be appreciated, need to be able to output a number of schematics to dxf.

I realize we may need to do a sheet at a time possible because of the way dxf works? But seems we can't get it to output anything at all.

Which exact version are you running? Check from Help>About. Export Design probably won't work if running without a license. This does work with a licensed installation with the following sequence: Open any schematic page, with the page open, File>Export Design, select the DXF tab, Current Page, or Entire Design can be selected, Current Page will be saved to "filename.DXF" specified in the "Save As" box, Entire Design will be saved to "filename_<Schematic_Name>_<Page_Name>.DXF" using the value specified in the "Save As" box as a prefix. Only one DXF file for repeated blocks in a complex hierarchy design is generated.
