Move part to coord - how? Reply

    Hello.

i am a fairly new user of cadence and i am using 16.6-S021

i am making a board and i need my holes to be set to a certain set of Coods that isnt on the grid, and as i'd prefer not to change grid, i would like to be able to set the part to a coord that i have decided on.

so my question is; how do i set a coord? i cant seem to figure out how and my google searches didnt help much.

    Thanks

    ~Peter

Have the part attached to your mouse then in the command window type x<space>x-cord<space>y-cord so for example you want a part placed at 100, 150. then type x 100 150 followed by a return.

And to extend that thought...if you want to move a part relative to a click you can use "ix  xx yy" for increment.
