cadence problem : IP3 and IM3 with PWL Reply

     Hello All/Cadence Support,
I am having the problem figuring out how to run  IM3 and IP3 simulation if the input file is a pwl file. I am easily able to run all other analysis of PSS except the IP3. I have tried PSS+PAC, QPSS which are usual for calculating IP3 but it dont work. For example, with the PSS+PAC analysis the PAC>IPN Curves has the message ''The data for each sideband of the pac analysis contains are frequency sweep. As a result, the above selected function cannot be executed'.
I need urgent help in this regard!

If you are computing IP3 using PSS+PAC, you should just do a "single point" PAC analysis. You might sweep the input power in the PSS analysis, and then just have a single point PAC analysis.

There's a useful tutorial on doing this kind of thing in <MMSIMinstDir>/tools/spectre/examples/SpectreRF_workshop/rfworkshop.tar.Z

The compressed tar file contains pdfs and a database with examples of performing analyses for oscillators, LNAs, mixers and PAs.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
