How to set global constraints Reply

    Hi,

When I open the constraint manager and try to set the global constraint it barks at me and says "Shape (THRUPIN_TO_SHAPE_SPACING) cannot be set directly on Designs". Why?

A work around is setting all the values in that column but that seems pretty dirty.

Your trying to click in the Design Field which is not the recommended way to set contsraints. Try going to the Spacing Constraint Set All Layers and set the rule values to what you want, these then get applied to the relevant nets that use those rules. It's a much better way to set and use Constraints. You set rules rather than applying net overrides to individual nets.
