DioMod: To check Junction breakdown Reply

    Hello,

I am working on the ESD protection circuit. But while simulating the devices, the junction breakdown warning does not come only the oxige breakdown warning comes in all cases. In the model parameters the DioMod=1. Which means that the junction breakdown is not modelled. can I edit the diomod to check junction break down values.

    Thanks and Regards

    M Arshad

Of course you can edit it, but you have to be aware of the full consequences of altering a model parameter if this is a characterized model - it may no longer have behaviour that matches the real device. You should talk to whoever created the model...

    Regards,

    Andrew.

     Thanks for the reply.

Do i have to change it in the     .scs model file.

Or it could be edited from ADE or transistor properties.
