 unplaced pins??

    unplaced pins?? Reply

    Hi all. I used foundation flows and after all the flows are run, pins were not routed and were present in one corner. I saw following error in log file of "make init"... can any body help me to remove this error.

    **WARN: (ENCTR-7102):    There are 4 unplaced pins or pins without metal layer geometry or M0 terms without V01 and there will be no connection to these pins.
    Options:  -maxRouteLayer 9 -noPinGuide

    vars(place_io_pins) controls whether IO pins are placed or not during placement. The corrsponds to "setPlaceMode -placeIoPins". The default is true. I would check and make sure it is not set to false.
