Logomaker - creating the same size text? Reply

    Hi,

I'm trying to create some nice font text for a silkscreen that will be used to label some connectors on a piece of PCB.

I'm struggling a little to get the text the same size all the time once I've created it with logomaker, here is what I do:

    * Create the text in Gimp -> export as a .bmp -> import with logomaker into a new mechanical symbol on the silkscreen layer

It seems that the length of the text can have an affect on the size of text that I end up with at the end of the process. It is all being written in size 80 font in Gimp.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Am I doing something stupid?

    Thanks,
