Can I apply instNamePrefix in .cdsenv ? Reply

I got a information about instNamePrefix here.

But if there are many instances & which cellnames are different each other.

In this case, can I apply instNamePrefix to all instances?

For example, there are 2 cells.

One's cellname is D_TCA, and the other is D_DCA.

I want D_TCA's instance name is D_TCA1 and D_DCA's instance name is D_DCA1 automatically

    without Editing Cellview Properties(symbol)

How can I define       "symbol  instNamePrefix = @cellName"    inside .cdsenv file?

Or any other way to create symbol with default instNamePrefix is not "I" but "cellName"

You can't. You'd have to edit the symbol. Of course, you could write some SKILL code to batch process a bunch of cellViews to add the instNamePrefix.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
