How do you "unfix" the symbol?

Inside the logomaker tool, it looks like I was using the tool without the "fix" button clicked.  When I place the symbol with the "fix" button checked, I can't select the symbol at all, or even 'info' it.

     I'm using Allegro 16.2.

It should work. Just ensure that you select at a graphical object within the image.

    Hi

From the property option you can unfix.. ( Place the logo without fix option in logo maker)

    Hi,

I have used succesfully LogoMaker for some time in V16.3. Now I have moved to v16.5 and the tool is able to place the converted image but when I try to move or delete it, a warning message appears in the command window:

W- (SPMHGE-623): Non associative dimensions in selection set ignored.  Use the
    Dimension Environment to edit dimensions.

and I can't either select, move or delete the placed symbol.

Any idea of what could be happening?

     Thanks

    Jose

Hi, Thanks for pointing this out. I too can see the problem now. I'm not sure what is causing it. I may need to pass this over to Cadence. Regards, Dave

Dave, thanks for this great tool.

Tip for using Program Files folder:

Instead of d:\Program Files\potrace, we should to write d:\Progra~1\potrace.

Dave, maybe you can write it in the "Installation instructions"...

    Hi eDave,

Thanks eDave for providing wonderful Logo maker Skill file  . I was using this with Oracd Pcb editor 16.3v  from last One year its really cool.
Now facing some problem with 16.5 interface . Unable to delete the shapes Once we place the Logo using Logo maker skill utility .
Its asking to use dimension environment to edit .If we use this environment also unable to delete.
The new dimension environment is bit irritating !!!!!

Looking forward to hear your Valuable suggestion

    Thanks in advance
    Regards ,
    Prashanth

    Hi Prashanth,

I have had similar problems with the  Dimensions layer. I raised a Service Request a while back that I think was actioned - so try the latest hotfix.

Otherwise, the only suggestion I have is to avoid placing anything (other than dimensions) on those layers. Also, look out for spurious subclasses that seem to appear once you have had a problem on the dimension layers. These subclasses will need to be deleted and a database check done.

    Hi Priya,

Did you set the environment variable properly for POTRACE_PATH and MAGICK_HOME? Attached an image for your reference.

No need to set folder path in latest logomaker v3.4.

    Regards,

    Shiva.

    Please read the previous posts.

There are installation instructions at the top of the file under "Installation instructions:".
