Creation of padstack using command line orguments Reply

I want to create a pad in allegro "123.pad" through command line orguments, could anyone have idea to do it windows environment.

Let me explain the same with example:

If I type 29c12 press enter,it should create a 57c40.pad with 57mils circular pad and 40 mils drill, mask is same as pad. also it should create a thermal (If it is through hole) based on drill size using batch file(.bat).

    Regards,

    Satya

This is something that would best be served by using a SKILL program to create the padstack. Look up axlDBCreatePadStack in <install_dir>\share\pcb\examples\skill\DOC\FUNCS for the synopsis and some examples.

Saving of existing pads is simple... you can either do a library dump (File-Export-Libraries) or do a Tools-Padstack-Modify Design Padstack-Save As
