    Cadence Systems Administrator support Reply

     Hey Guys

I just have a couple of questions and if anyone knows or can help us out it would be appreciate.  I'm a graduate student and our university is a member of the University Program with Cadence. However though we have access to the software and licenses, it is the University's responsibility for systems support i.e installs and PDK updates

Question 1: Where can a person go to learn how to do a proper install of Cadence from begining to end. Does Cadence offer a training course for this?

Question 2: We tried to hire some consultants however they weren't proficient enough to meet our needs, so our system is not working properly so if anyone knows an EDA Consultant close to the Greensboro, NC area or anyone that can come and take a look at our system and get us back working again would help us out alot.

    Thanks

The University program is a very important way for Cadence to support the development of future technologists in our industry. Your questions about installation are available on the SourceLink download site, or are can be answered by calling or emailing local support. Consultants can be refered by your local sales office.
