Did you try using Connectivity->update->Components and Nets? You may have to coorespond the instances by their name but it should figure this out.

Hi,

I had a Designer do some modification to a layout I created. They basically reordered a few devices for better matching. Now I find that the devices have been renamed but the metal paths connecting them have the old names and VXL is refusing to enable the 'Show Incomplete Nets' functions and I'm forced to either delete a whole load of connectivity and recreate it fresh or go back to using a print out and a highlighter pen to complete hook up, which means - no using VXL.

I have tried selecting every thing in the layout and Connectivity > Update > Layout Perameters, but this does not work. Is there a way of removing all conectivity attached to the nest of the whole Layout and then re attaching them through VXL ??
