    Complex Monte Carlo simulation Reply

     Hi everyone,

    I'm quite new to PSPICE and specific to Monte Carlo(MC) simulation. When follow the MC examples in UG, I can ony use simple output variable such as V or I of a node, but now I want the output variable be more complex such as impedance of a circuit so I key in V/I but PSPICE raises error. Anybody can tell me how to correct the output variable or work-around for this case will much help me!

    You need to use PSpice Advance Analysis for that, PSpice may not support all types of expression under PSpice MC analysis. Generally expression supported with PSpice ".PROBE" command are supported here. Refer Probe command section in PSpice Reference Guide for additional details.

     Alokt, thanks for your recommendation. I've found that the .PROBE command accepts only simple variables. But in case I want to examine some system characteristic (gain,bandwidth,input/output impedance...) depend on multiple parts variances, which type of simulation can I take perform? 

    PS: I've read UG parametric sweep simulation but the example only let 1 parameter vary. I want something like "multiple parametric" sweep :D
