Query instance row by row Reply

    Hi,

I am working with Encounter. Due to a special requirement, I attempted to query each instance row by row (from left to right) but without success. I've looked through the forum and still cannot figure it out.

Could anyone give me some hints or documents which can solve my problem?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think the db stores a direct link for each instance in a row, but perhaps using dbQuery in conjunction with the box a row occupies could you get there?

For example, if I make rows selectable I could do this to get a list of instances overlapping that row:

dbQuery -area [dbGet selected.box] -objType inst

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Bob!

I hope that EDI system support to elaborate it quickly. But it seems that I have to manually process each of them. I will let you know results when I have it done.
