    OCEAN fails with _sevIsDebugEnvironmentSession error Reply

     Hello,

     I would like to run spectre simulation from ocean script, but my dimolation doesn't start. I have netlist without schematics (test.scs which I am able to run using direct command "spectre test.scs"). I rename file test.scs to netlist.

    Ocn script:

     ; specify netlist and results directory
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    simulator('spectre)
    dir="./netlist"
    design( "./netlist/netlist" )
    saveOption('save "all")
    resultsDir("./sim/results")
    analysis('tran ?stop 500n )
    run()

    p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

     I got an error:

    *Error* eval: undefined function - _sevIsDebugEnvironmentSession

    *Error* load: error while loading file - "./netlist/zzz.ocn" at line 10

     I have no idea how to overcome this error.

    Jerry

     Jerry,

    The Forum Guidelines ask you not to post on the end of old threads - and since your question is somewhat different, I split it into a separate thread.

    What version are you using (type getVersion(t) in the CIW or ocean prompt)? Also, what executable are you running to invoke the script.

    The error is a bit strange, because this function should be a standard part of one of our context files (the simui context file) which ought to be loaded automatically.I've not found any reports of this happening from anyone else.

    By the way, running by copying the test.scs to netlist doesn't necessarily make sense because it will try to add other statements around it (e.g the analysis statements), but let's see what happens...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
