    Rapid IP3 on receiver lineups using PSS/PAC Reply

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone if familiar with running Rapid IP3 simulations on receiver lineups. My specific issue was related to the measuring IP3 at different stages (before and after frequency translation) in the lineup which is not supported by Rapid IP3 UI? Any inputs are appreciated.

    Provided you have a signal source at the input of a stage, and point the Rapid IP3 form at the output of a stage, then you should be able to measure it. In practice this may mean you have to have a separate testbench for each stage of your "lineup" (not sure what you mean by "lineup" - I'm assuming you mean your receiver chain?). Note that if the circuit is not translating in frequency (i.e. there's no LO, because
    it's not a mixer), you may want to use RapidIP3 from the "ac" analysis form rather than "pac".
