.dra and .psm files for a standard 37-pin Dsub right angle male connector Reply

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can find the footprint .dra and .psm files for a 37-pin Dsub right angle male connector such as an AMP 5747843-4?  I've got files for the female version, but can't use it for the male as pin 1 & 19 etc. are backwards.  I'm using Orcad version 16.3.

    Thanks,

    Doug

Are you not able to modify the female connector and save it as a new part?

I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks.  I'll figure it out.  Thanks, Doug

So I take it from your reply you *can* edit the part...Open it (.dra file) and edit->text on the pin number and resequence.  Or you can edit->move and move the pins to the new location.  Then save as a new file name.
