    Skill Code Reply

    Hi all,

I had installed Orcad PCb Editor on my system. When I am trying to run skill code.It shows like following

    "Command>Skill

    E-command not found skill

    Command> "

I don't know why it shows like that.and i have set my skill path as " <home>/pcbenv " .If there is any additional requirement just let me know.

That's correct, there is no SKILL command line in the OrCAD PCB Editor products. You can pre-load SKILL routines through an allegro.ilinit file when OrCAD PCB Editor starts and then access the interactive commands defined by those SKILL routines within OrCAD PCB Editor but you cannot run SKILL at the Command Line and you cannot dynamically load any SKILL routines once OrCAD PCB Editor has started. You need at least an Allegro PCB Design L (legacy) or Allegro PCB Designer license to get this functionality enabled.
