    Hello,

I'm trying to put a via on a slot hole pad (Package symbol level). But I don't have any idea on how to do it cause I'm kind of new on using cadence 16.6

This is the layout that I'm working on

    Thank you very much,

Use Layout - Connections then simply double click where you want your via. The via type is controlled in Constraint Manager (Setup - Constraints - Physical) look at Physical Constraint Set - All Layers and then look for Vias Column. Left Click in the default rule and select what you wish to use for the via.
