Explore options available to connect to skill code through VSTO(Microsoft Excel Project). Reply

    Hi All,

I am a newbie. I am trying to explore options to run skill code in my VSTO project(Microsoft Excel) . Is it possible to do so?

All I am trying to do it call  a Skill procedure from Excel which will then update an Allegro design.

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.

    Maanu.

    Hi Maanu

Maybe it would be easier the other way around, with release 16.6 Allegro skill contain a number of spreadsheet commands, all named axlSpreadsheet that would help you read data from a spreadsheet into Allegro.

Take a look at the pdf document C:\Cadence\SPB_16.6\doc\algroskill\algroskill.pdf - it has a section named "Microsoft Excel Integration Functions"

    Best regards

    Ole
