    Pole-Zero analysis (sweep) Reply

     Hi everyone

I am performing a pole-zero analysis and sweeping a design variable (i.e. the load capacitance) which works works great. but when i am plotting the results using Results>Direct Plot>Main Form>pz i can't interprete the x-axis since it is not labeled and I cant find a reference in the manual (maybe I am just looking in the wrong pace... I would have expected it to be the sweepvariable as it normally is but it is not and it also seems to be unit less. What does the x-axis represent?

    Thanks for the help!

It's the Qfactor. Not sure that's quite intentional (or even that useful). You might want to report this to customer support.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Samuel,

The good news is that this is fixed in the upcoming IC616 release (I just tested it). IC616 is due for release in the May timeframe.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
