p5vonly” and “phires” errors generated when using tier XL and GXL ADE Reply
Is there any toolfix for “p5vonly” and “phires” errors generated when using tier XL and GXL ADE. These global design variables will get set to either 0 or 1 depending on device restriction.

    Thank you in advance.

This must be something to do with your design or the Process Design Kit (PDK) that you're using; it's not a general problem with the software. Maybe if you explain which PDK it is that you're using, somebody may recognize the problem (I don't).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Might also be a good idea to ask IBM?

In ADE, you have just to set the global variables as you wish. They are by default set to 0 (zero).

For the "p5vonly" variable, see item 1.7 of the IBM Model Reference Guide (5V Only Process Option) and for the "phires" variable, see item 1.6 of the same manual (High Resistivity Substrate Option).
