    Standard files for manufacturing PCB editor Reply

     hi guy's

    just wondering as a general guideline what are the essential files that are needed for the manufacturer and i suppose the flow in which the must be generated? once the board is ready for manufacture! Thanks.

     Hi francis,

    for manufacturing perpose the following artwork (Gerber) file is important

    1.Assembly Top and Bottom,

    2.No of Signal Layer

    3.Mask Top and Bottom /Paste Top and Bottom

    4.SilkScreen Top and Bottom

    5.Drill file 

    6.Netlist file in IPC-356

    Pcb Editor --->file--->export--->IPC 356 --->export.

    Thanks guys,

     Just wondering does generating an auto silk top/bottom account for Assembly top &bottom & silkscreen top/bottom?
