Orcad CIS LIte Opamps library -need help Reply

    Hi,

I was using Orcad capture Cis Lite to design a small circuit, the circuit contain an opamp ELH0041G (Elantec). I could not see this component in orcad library. I even downloaded Elantec opamps libraries from cadence site. Even there I could not see this particular component.

But in orcad opamp library, I saw a similar component (LH4104), planning to use this component and change the properties to match with that of ELH0041G. Is this approach right? Looking forward for your suggestions,

    Best regards

    Madhuraj

Fundamentally, yes. If another part matches, or nearly matches, your requirements modify it as required and save it to another library if you want a more "permanent" version locally.
