Design Entry HDL - Multiple Commands per Hotkey Reply

I am trying to create a hotkey that will perform multiple commands at once--for example, set the grid size to 0.05 and then refresh the screen.  Or for example perform the operation of Group->Text Change, and then invoke the text change editor.

Is there a way to do create either of these hotkeys?  Thanks.

You can use ; to seperate commands and cotain them both within "", for example

funckey e “exit; fillin no” will exit the drawing and say No to the confirmer winder that pops up. You could also look at a script which might give you a better result.

Do you know what the command is to bring up the text editor (notepad)?  If I create a hotkey for it, the hotkey file says Ctrl+E _TEXT_CHANGE_EDITOR;, but if I type "_TEXT_CHANGE_EDITOR" into the command console (or varients of it) it doesn't work.  Anyone know an equivelent command?

There is a cpm file variable setting for the text editor

    C:\Cadence\designs>cpmaccess -read test.cpm concepthdl TEXT_EDITOR

    notepad

    C:\Cadence\designs>
