Setting a toggle key to switch "Max 45 len" from 5 mils to 9999 mils and vice-versa when sliding trace/etch! Reply

     Hi everyone,

Hopefully that i post my question in correct forum :).

I am using a script to change 45 degree's maximum length from 5 mils to 9999 mils, i have also another script to change back
    from 9999 to 5.

It seems not making sense since i have to use 2 keys, so i raise up an idea that is there any way to use a key to toggle 2 commands ?

    Any idea is welcome.

    Thank you,

    Thuong.

    Hi

    Try this

    Funckey b 'settoggle max 5.00 9999.00; setwindow form.mini;FORM mini max_45_len $max; setwindow pcb'

    Hi

like you, I got help to create a similar shortcut.

it is not always that the scriptmode+ shows you everything, if you try to record a script, then you can see all CMD forms, etc.

here is some other Funckey that use “toggel”

    #Grid on/off

funckey F7 'grid toggle; redraw; echo "Toggle Grid"'

    #toggle cline (track) width during routing #0.2 0.3 0.4 0.5mm#

    funckey W 'settoggle minw .2 .3 .4 .5 .1; setwindow form.mini; FORM mini acon_line_width $minw; setwindow pcb'

    BR

     HI,

anyone know where to find discussions, examples regarding setting up keys using funkey on cadence documentation?.

I found docs regarding funckey and alias but the description only shows simple assigning of command on keyboard keys. I want to know more advance topics such as using toggle and combining series of commands in a single key.

    Regards,
