I would like to install Orcad 9.0 Capture and Layout on a Windows 8 64-bit laptop. What do I need to do to run the installation?

I would suggest trying newer version like 16.6 instead of Version 9.

Instead of 9.0 u can try the 16.6 latest version. Because the latest version is been very simple and more tools to be used in industrial sectors. Better u try 16.3 or 16.6..
