    This position will report into the Electrical Engineering Solutions department, which is responsible for providing IT Engineering solutions to all electrical related disciplines within RMS. The RF Support Engineer will have primary duties in the support of various electrical tools and will be tasked with seeking out and implementing new operating efficiencies. Specific support will be in the area of the RF and analog discipline tools. Responsibilities include tool support in the areas of demand management, deployment, problem resolution, integration, customization and training. Additional tasks include installing new tools, creating installation notes for new tools, performing analog and RF tool evaluations, developing analog and RF training and guidelines, integrating analog and RF tools with other design tools, and PSPICE modeling. This individual will work closely across IT functions, Engineering and Program personnel to develop and prioritize tool road maps and upgrade schedules for supported tools. The selected individual should be a self-starter with capabilities to identify, plan and implement tool automation and support requirements to continuously simplify and improve the supported Engineering tools.Required Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience or equivalent
    • Working knowledge and experience with RF and analog tools, including HFSS, PSpice and SystemVision
    • Familiar with PCB design criteria for analog, RF and mixed signal designs
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    •  Proficient with both Windows and UNIX/Linux scripting
    •  Possess the necessary people skills to work effectively with all levels of management, peers and subordinates
    • Proficiency with FLEXlm and other licensing methods
    Desired Skills:Knowledge of Microwave Studio from CST, Advanced Simulation of Cadence's AMS, Mentor's DxDesigner and Expedition PCB, Cadence Allegro front-end tools, and ADS/EESOF from Agilent Security Clearance: Secret clearance preferred but must have interim secret to start and be able to obtain a secret clearance.Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field.
