    Hi Phanendra,

    Here a script to do this taken from solution 11701286 (http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:ViewSolution;solutionNumber=11701286).

    Regards,

    Brian

    Problem

    Is there a way to get (in tcl) the setting of the setDontUse on a particular cell ?

    I know I can use the reportDontUse command, but I didn’t find a way to get the true/false setting of the cell returned/captured into a tcl variable.

    Solution

    Please use the following script :

    foreach_in_collection libCell [get_lib_cells *] {
      set name [get_property $libCell name]
      set cellP [dbGetCellByName $name]
      puts "$name [dbIsCellDontUse $cellP]"
    }

    This script will identify all cells marked dont_use using any of these methods :

         - if the user sets it interactively using setDontUse.

         - if the library cell has "dont_use : true" set in the .lib

         - if the SDC has set_dont_use
