    Saving operating points of a device inside an instance Reply

     Hi all,

    I was trying to save the operating points of a transistor M113, which wasinside an instance I4. I have put "save I4.M113:all" in ny saveop.scs file. but its giving a message "IM113 is not a device or subcircuit, and hence ignoring"? This is the first time i am trying to save the op of a device inside an instance. Any help will be appreciated.

    That ought to work, so I can only imagine that you've got the name different from what it's actually called in the netlist. Maybe you can just contact customer support so somebody can take a look at your netlist and see what it looks like.

    The error message you've posted doesn't match the save statement you've posted, so there's at least a typing mistake somewhere - maybe there is in your saveop.scs ?
