 Convert inst to mosaic

     Hi

     I am trying to change the object type of the MOS from instance to mosaic, and I used following command

     

    dbCreateParamSimpleMosaic(

    d_cellView
    d_masterCellView
    t_name
    l_origin
    l_orient
    x_rows
    x_cols
    x_rowSpacing
    x_colSpacing
    l_params)

     

     I am not able to pass w and l info of the existing MOS instance.

    please tell me how to pass the the parameters

    Hi Gurup

    If your command is correct, then it is most likely because of callback triggering. You might need to use the trigger script in COS solution 11018344.

    This works for me (assume you have one MOS inst selected): 
     
    inst = css()
    dbCreateSimpleMosaic( geGetEditCellView() inst->master "M1" inst->xy inst->orient 1 1 0.1 0.1 )

    If you MOS is a pcell, setting the correct master should give your new mosaic the proper w and l values.
