A problem I have encountered in Orcad Capture CIS,please help Reply

    Hi ,All

I'm using Allegro 16.3 and i'm having some troubles with Orcad Capture .

the following world will show this problem

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following 1 points have been identified as net connectivity change points from the last operation
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    (119.38, 30.48)

Any tips / lessons learned from folks that have successfully made this jump would be appreciated.

OK, so what is the problem exactly??

The text provided is from the session log indicating that the last user operation resulted in a connectivity change at the specified point, likely a wire added, this would not indicate any sort of problem, just a log of the result of a user operation.

Thank for your replay.and sorry for my poor english.

I go to great lengths insert the picture in here ,but I am failed . The image URL is a conundrum for me. The problem for example if one crystal and two caps had been inserted, this warning should show in the session log with any wire was added.

    Hi,

I have the same problem in ORCAD Schematic 16.5. Whenever I copy an object from a part of schematic and want to paste it on another object I see that message in the session log and can't connect it to my object. As an example: I copy a  VCC symbol from part of my schematic which I have drwan proviously and want to connect it to a power pin of new placed part, I receive that message in session log:

The following 1 points have been identified as net connectivity change points from the last operation

I also below message in the status:

"Object move not completed as this resulted in connectivity changes"

How can I get rid of this funny warning?!.

I appreciate any help on this issue.

    Thanks,

    hossein

Go to Options>Preferences, Miscellaneous tab, check the box in the "Wire Drag" group, "Allow component move with connectivity changes", otherwise you will need to "wire" everything together with wires, rather than dropping pins together.

    Hi,

Many thanks to you. It worked. :-) I was so confused with this kind of phenomenon. I couldn't find anything about this warning in Orcad help isn't it a drawback for such a software? Anyway, I would again appreciate your consideration and comment. Would you also please take a look at my other serious problem? I had posted it some days ago. But didn't get any help on it. Thanks again,
