Setting up Cadence Starter Library Reply
I am trying to setup the allegro starter library to learn how to use databases; however, obviously I have alot to learn. I have followed the instructions that were included in the .zip file "cadence starter library". When I choose to place a database part I can see the part tree (See attached screenshot); however, I do not see any actual parts to place or any information. I have never used ODBC either, but I have followed the steps in the cadence installation guide to the letter and everything "seems" to be set correctly but I can not get this to work properly . Can someone please advise?

Can you try turning off session log window shown at bottom or making it undocked? DB parts may be listed but session log may be overlapping it.
