    Autoplacing Components Reply
I'm using OrCad PCB Editor 16.3 for a new PCB design. I have used it before as well, but every time I've designed something in the past it has been very small, so I placed components manually. Now I got a big project and would like to start using Autoplace. I couldn't find some tutorial online showing how to use autoplace. I created my Top and Bottom grids with 1mm spacing, here is where I get stuck, I've tried using quickplace to place all the parts and then use autoplace so they are paced inside the board outline automatically, I don't know if they have to be selected or what before autoplacing, but it doesn't work. I have no idea where to go from here or if I'm missing something. I used the wizzard to create my board templace which is 10" x 4". Any help will be appreciated.
