[HELP] Allegro PCB file lost Reply

    Hi guys,

I just met a big problem with Allegro 16.2.

I have layout all the pins on my 4-layer pcb. But I found one component had a wrong pin net name, so I updated it in Capture.

After then, I re-open the .brd file and want to update the pcb, at this time, Allegro PCB design GXL pop up a warning!

"WARNING(SPMHOD-34): Database was last saved by lower tier tool...

Allegro Expert. DRC is set out-of-date so you may wish to update DRC to insure design rules are being followed."

Does anybody know how to recover my design?

Or I must re-layout my pcb?

    What a pity!

I've checked that the autosave feature is disabled in default.

So there may have no backup for me?

This is just a warning -- Allegro doesn't delete any rules -- it may not honor *some* of the higher level rules.

However the rules did miss in my .brd.

All the rules are set to default and all components are unplaced. There is nothing in my .brd.
